About Benjamin Berger
A native of Long Island, I grew to embrace film at a very early age. Outside of writing music and collaborating on school-produced plays, little to nothing else could provide me with the endless joy and entertainment that was so central to cinema.
I went on to study film in college in New York City, emerging with a BFA in Film and Television, along with fifteen short films written and directed by myself on a variety of formats including SD, HD, miniDV, and 16mm. Additionally, throughout the course of my college career, I was able to crew on a combination of over forty student and independent films in nearly every department on set, specializing in production sound.
Though I enjoy mixing, gripping, assisting camera, and editing, my true passions lie in writing and directing. This past year I directed two shorts, both now in post-production, with the intention of going to festivals around the world.
